What do you know about car service and maintenance?

Car service and maintenance is an important issue, but checking some parts after this service and actually post-service services such as post-crisis crisis management is very important. Kehan will explain everything you need to know about periodic car services in this article.

1- Repair shop checklist paper

Reviewing this paper and the items included in it by yourself can significantly reduce the remaining service items and errors.

2- The invoice for the services performed

Check this invoice carefully with your eyes open. We do not necessarily mean wrist banding. Maybe something was missed in the transfer of the invoice between the mechanic and the supervisor of the repair shop, or a fee was inadvertently assigned to you by mistake.

3- Engine oil color

To find out if your engine oil has been changed or not, check the oil gauge. If its color is bright, be sure that the engine oil has been changed.

4- Engine coolant and brake oil

These two liquids may lose a little of their volume after replacement. Note that you should either check these fluids yourself some time after the service and add them if they are low, or visit the repair shop again some time after the service to ensure their proper amount.

5- Belongings, tool box, spare, jack, etc.

It is better to ask the supervisor of the repair shop and the person who accepts your car to write down these accessories in the checklist. But after delivering the car, be sure to check these parts.

6- Gasoline level

It is better to include the gasoline level in the checklist by the receptionist. In this way, you will be relieved that the mechanics have not used the car’s air conditioner for a long time in the summer. Or even vice versa, under the pretext of using the heater in winter, your car is not turned on for a long time.

7-kilometer vehicle travel

Make sure that the mileage of your car is included in the checklist and check the changes after the delivery of the car. In case of many changes and high scrolling, be sure to ask the repair shop manager for the reason.

8- Wheels

After delivering the car, check the wheels carefully. If the tires do not need to be replaced and you notice them, ask the reason. Also, make sure that your rims and tires have not been changed with other cars. If you need to balance, preferably check it with a simple test drive.

9- Air filter

Be sure to check the replacement of this consumable part. The appearance of a clean air filter is quite recognizable.

10- Road test

Do not take this lightly. Try to sit behind the steering wheel yourself, and if you feel the slightest problem, ask the supervisor of the repair shop to sit behind the wheel, and in general, fix any problem you feel at the same repair shop before delivering the car.
